Product Highlight
Piston cylinder apparatus for simulating the extreme pressure and temperature conditions that prevail deep in the earth. This allows rock samples to be exposed to pressures of up to 30,000 atmospheres and temperatures of up to 1500°C. The system is equipped with a state-of-the-art Siemens PLC control system. Two of these machines are in use at Macquarie University in Sydney.
